An Idaho native, Alice H. Dunn grew up on a ranch as an avid reader. While assisting her husband Wendell in their California pharmacy, raising six children, working as an extension agent, teaching school, leading 4-H clubs, and earning her MA in English Literature “to read all those books,” she wrote prize winning mini-musical comedies for youth competition, piquing her interest in writing. Her full-length Big Foot Hoax was performed by an amateur troop. She self-published the children’s book, Lennis and the Snails, and a collection of her poems, Lyrics from Life and is published in Idaho Senior Independent and Idaho Magazine among others. Ron Vergona published Opposition Reflex in 2014. It is the first novel in a political conspiracy series chronicling the efforts of a firefighter and a journalist to preserve the American dream. Prior to writing fiction, Ron had a career in medical research, co-authoring over fifty scientific papers. The concept for the current series came from observing politicians polarize the nation amidst a framework of ideological attacks.
